Marieke Ledingham is an experienced Registered Psychologist with over two decades of professional experience across a range of organisational and clinical settings. Her career spans roles including Psychosocial Risk Lead within the energy sector, Workplace Psychologist, Senior University Lecturer, Coach, and Private Practice Clinician.
Marieke is a seasoned lecturer and speaker known for making complex topics accessible while grounding her content in contemporary scientific research. Her style is confident and relatable, and she works effectively with diverse groups within complex organisations — from front-line workers to senior leaders. She particularly enjoys supporting leaders to interpret data, problem-solve, and translate insights into practical action.
In her clinical work, Marieke has a strong interest in the prevention and treatment of burnout, informed by her academic and research background. She works with individuals experiencing burnout, workplace challenges, redundancy, and work–life conflict.
Marieke is guided by the belief that healthy workplaces support mentally healthy workers, stronger organisational outcomes, and more resilient communities.
She holds a PhD in Occupational Psychology & Management, a Master of Counselling, a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology (Rehabilitation and Injury Management), and a Bachelor of Science (Psychology). She also holds qualifications in Project Management and Adult Education and Training.
